North Sea RideAfter having stayed overnight in Thisted you are going to visit one of the coastal villages at the North Sea – Nr. Vorupør. The village of today is one of the few places with fishing boats on the shore. Enjoy the atmosphere at the landing place with all its activities. You will find mile after mile of sandy beaches and a main street with interesting shops, restaurants and cafés. The next morning you ride via the village Klitmøller – known as the surfers paradise. Klitmøller is a nice little coastal village with a lot of atmosphere. After visiting Klitmøller you will leave the coast to enter the National Park. This will lead you through dune plantations and between the great lakes in the northern part of National Park Thy. Destination of this day will be the village Skinnerup north of Thisted.

 At the Limfjord
On this trip you have got your base in Thisted. Day 1: You will get along the "Øland" tour, showing you the beautiful nature along the Limfjord. Day 2: will get you to the north, where nature is as exciting as yesterday, and you will enjoy your lunch packet on this tour. Along with the beautiful nature you will experience life in the small town of Thisted, with its many shops, restaurants and cafés. Amongst other things you can enjoy a voyage with old wooden vessel "Lovise Moland" on the Limfjord, watch art exhibitions or listen to a church koncert. Both nights you will sleep at a cosy hotel in Thisted, where breakfast is served in the morning.

Bird watching tour
The village of Østerild is the perfect starting point for this bird watching tour by bike. Nearby you will find both the bird reserve "Vejlerne" and the bird rock "Bulbjerg". North Europe´s greatest birds reserve, Vejlerne, is a great nature area. Here you can watch birds from one of the many watch towers.A spectators centre along the main road between Thisted and Fjerritslev gives you a lot of information and the possibility to watch birds with binoculars. Denmark´s only birds rock, Bulbjerg, gives you a phantastic view from its 47 metres high top. Here you will find a special kind of nesting seagull, the Black-legged Kittiwake from the north atlantic. If you belong to the active persons who ride the bike to Bulbjerg and Vejlerne in one day (app. 52 kilometres), you will still find a lot to experience in the area, a.o. the Limfjord and the dune plantations, in which you will find several marked paths.
