The Historic ThyThroughout Thy you can feel the sense of history - present and tangible. All you have to do is climb to the top of one of the numerous burial mounds in the area to litterally stand "on the shoulders" of our forefathers from the Stone Age and Bronze Age. Additionally, there is a variety of museums throughout Thy. The museums cover everything from local artists, historic settings from Thy to bunkers from World War 2. In Thy we are proud to have both the largest and smallest village church in Denmark. Additionally, there are a wealth of different and interesting churches around the area.
