Here in Thy you can find a great number of surfspots. Actually, the western coast of Thy Denmark is also called " Cold Hawaii". Among surfers the area around Klitmøller is known as one of the best surfspots in Europe. Wind and wave conditions make the area perfect.

Surfers come in all ages - both young people, families and children. If you are up for the challenge you can start by surfing on the fjord or sign up for a class in Klitmøller.
Of course you can also just enjoy the view of when the "professional" fly through the air. Throughout the year there are competitions and surfparties are held regularly.

“Cold Hawaii”.
In September 2010, the best international windsurfers received a warm welcome in Klitmøller at the first Cold Hawaii PWA World Cup.
A unique event, which is part of the most prestigious windsurfing worldcup series worldwide. The World Cup takes place every year in September
at Ørhage, Klitmøller.
